Questions we hear about Canada

Ask anything else on WhatsApp.

Is it harder to get a Canadian study permit now?
Yes. Canada set 155,000 permits for new arriving students in 2026, about half of 2024. A strong, early application matters.
Do I need a PAL for my master's?
Not from 1 January 2026 if you study at a public designated learning institution.
Can private colleges get me a PGWP?
Students at private colleges that license public curriculum aren't PGWP-eligible. Check before you pay.
How long is the PGWP?
Up to 3 years. Master's graduates get up to 3 years even for programs shorter than 2 years.
